Giulia is a visual artist and designer working between Italy and Germany. With a background in Papermaking, Colormaking, and printmaking from her studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome, she completed her master’s in Visual Strategies and Stories at Burg Giebichenstein Kunsthochschule Halle, where she received the Giebichenstein Design Prize 2023 for Best Communication with her cigarettes book “Take My Breath Away.” Her practice spans illustration, bookbinding, printing, papermaking, and natural dyeing, blending traditional craft with contemporary visual storytelling. Since 2021 she has been working as a freelancer, creating commissioned Illustrations graphics, posters, tape and vinyl covers, and leading workshops in dyeing, papermaking, and printing.
